About the Journal
The Indo-American Journal of Life Sciences and Biotechnology (IAJLB), ISSN 2347-2243, is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Unicorn Publishers. We welcome careful work at every scale, from molecules and cells to organisms and ecosystems, and we particularly value studies that are reproducible and that point clearly towards a practical use.
What We Publish
Original research articles, review articles, case reports and short communications across life sciences and biotechnology. The full list of topics is on the Aims and Scope page.
How We Work
- Double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts, with a first decision usually within 12–14 weeks (Peer Review Policy)
- Similarity screening of every manuscript with iThenticate (Plagiarism Policy)
- Immediate open access under CC BY 4.0, with authors keeping their copyright (Open Access Policy)
- Crossref DOIs for every article, and long-term preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (Archiving Policy)
- Indexed in Embase, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus and other services, with a NAAS rating of 3.91 (Indexing and Abstracting)
- Ethics based on COPE guidance, with ethics and biosafety approval required where relevant (Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement)
Publication Costs
An Article Processing Charge applies only after acceptance and is tiered by country income level and article type. Full waivers are available. See Article Processing Charges.
